Finally, dorsum to normal, or…?
Summer is now a thing of the past even if the sunday is still shining, sometimes, even keeping u.s.a. warm in the northward of Europe. June and July offered united states beautiful summer days just went by very fast, as they always seem to do. With autumn comes another school yr and an enthusiastic group of teachers and pupils make it at school, most of them suntanned and full of energy.
After last year's distance educational activity, nosotros are very happy to run into upwards with each other in real life, I am happy to run into my colleagues likewise every bit my students' faces, this time for real and non behind the screen. I wonder what it has washed to usa, being apart like we were. What I do know is that I am happier than ever having the chance to meet and see my teacher friends (but with altitude of course).
We value each other's visitor much more at present and, in my opinion, a solitary instructor is not a proficient instructor. I need my colleagues to collaborate with, share my worries and happy thoughts with and I believe pedagogy is teamwork. We are better when nosotros work together.
That said I worry a little scrap about what the time to come holds for the states.
When the Pandemic Hit
Some of our students enjoyed studying at abode and constitute it easier to focus and get things done, others missed their friends and lost the feeling of belonging to a grouping and the connectedness to the rest of the society that schoolhouse gives.
On the positive side, we had more students with u.s. during the distance weeks than others, since students who don't come to schoolhouse but stay at home now attended the lessons online. This is something we demand to recollect and investigate more, how can nosotros learn from this time and make the school day improve for the children who stay home and don't attend school?
Correct now, we are all dorsum in school. It is however a very uncertain fourth dimension, and we are simply waiting for the moment when nosotros will be told that the schools will be shut downward again. Living in that uncertainty is frustrating and that was the hardest role last year I believe, the abiding changes and flexibility that was demanded from u.s.a..
It fabricated u.s.a. tired and stressed and some of the teachers at our school had to continue sick leave due to the mental stress it entailed. We are teachers and we all take the superpowers required for the job, simply we are likewise simply humans, and this was too much fifty-fifty for united states. Since it is not possible to predict the future there is no manner to know what is going to happen. We shouldn't assume the worst, instead keep going and hope for the best. We need to keep beingness positive and aid each other, if we worry too much, the students will too.
I piece of work at a secondary school in Sweden. I teach English and Spanish and have worked every bit a teacher for 15 years. I love my task and I notice it both exciting and challenging, you never know what's going to happen the adjacent day.
This is something I savour but, how could we accept been prepared for a pandemic and all that came with it?
Last year, in our schoolhouse we had the students here every other calendar week during wintertime and spring, that manner we could spread out and keep distance.

Looking forward into the Future
If the twenty-four hours comes when nosotros must work from home again then we will exist fine. We have the feel and tools and then we can do information technology all again. What doesn't kill you makes you lot stronger and now we are so much stronger than before. As I wrote before, teachers who stick together and support and assist each other are amend teachers and of we practise that I believe we can climb the highest mount and create wonders even in the most confusing and uncertain times. My message to you all is to accept intendance of your colleagues, don't have them for granted, be a friend and stay positive and supportive. With that said, at the top of my wish list is some peace and quiet and the opportunity to go on doing our job in the classroom.
